  I Found Some Extremely Rare Rutherford Recordings

  i was blown away when i found these watchtower records with rutherford on them.

  these aren't the ones that were used door to door.

  these are 16 inch records that were sent to radio stations to broadcast rutherford over the airwaves.

  i had a covid divorce last year over zoom.

  not pretty but i got a good deal.. anyway,.

  The danger from covid is likely the lesser reason for staying home. As mentioned, little kids, teenagers starting to think, tired from work, boring meetings, travel, neckties, isolation induced habits. Then the directive to stay home if you have symptoms; it is allergy season now🤫

  We have heard comments from the stage about being where you belong. An elder and his wife asked about a neighbor who is zooming. He has health problems you don't see, close family died of covid. And I think hypochondriac. They didnt know this, so much for shepherding.

  I do dishes, laundry, snack, cook while having zoom on. It keeps me awake. Wife will sometimes say let's skip. Usually I tune in so we are counted, there is the increased attendance.

  Wife can't get the computer ( tv too) to work most times, so I have a obligation to help her. If I do go she will be unable to get connected. She is frail, and cannot take the hard chairs, crowds, people who back into small people. One serious fall will ruin her remaining mobility. I wonder how the beard will play out.

  i get all the good things about being in the cong, good social life lots of invites to bbqs and meals out.

  Pressure from family still in. A waste of a day. Few people home, fewer ( none) interested, lots of wasted effort doing returns and waiting while they went to doors. Best part was break. Worst was " mood music" in some cars. Conversation usually was sports, camping, work; a few yoyos insisted on " spiritual " subjects.

  I really am looking forward to how many will resume when it is "safe". I am figuring excuses right now. Maybe the letter writers arexrighr

  Questionable logic. Why is t h e trip out slow and return instantaneous? Is one way uphill? A circle makes more sense, start, and when done be at the original spot.

  "i will probably live here for a long time" (you're invested with your time), "i will save money by building equity over time".

  (you've invested in yourself financially for the long run) of course, i wouldn't be able to list the numerous reasons why people want to buy a house.

  First post? Be aware we are naughty JWs or worse. I would be under a bridge without having bought.

  You are tied down more if you want to move for a job or such.

  The experiences are people who had equity and money, not the struggling peons. You seldom hear of visiting " "princes" staying where the door is a blanket tacked up or sleeping on a hide a bed. Always above average homes, the same as depicted in the literature.

  is it possible that jw's would get so worn out by watchtower 's bullshit that they would stand up gather their stuff and walk out of a meeting or a convention.

  There was a posting from an elder who attended a "school" where a higher up said the governing body throws ideas at the wall and waits to see if it sticks. He didnt walk out, but did close his notebook and quit listening.

  what is the purpose of wearing masks and to sit keeping distances if you shake hands and hug each other before and after the meetings?.

  It is too early to spot trends but (WT trademark word) first meetings showed 30 to 40 on zoom, memorial 20 odd, last midweek the chairman commented on sparce in person audience and zoom showed 50 or more.

  I have yet to attend in person but probably will for appearances sake. There are legitimate health concerns to stay home.
